Social Committee Events

The Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbour Social Committee has scheduled a number of events this season. Some are held weekly while others occur on specific dates. Marine Trades Association of Maryland

The Marine Trades Association of Maryland (MTAM) is an important resource (advocacy group) that serves recreational boaters as well as the marine industry in Maryland.

If you are a boat owner, visit MTAM to find needed services and information that can make your boating experience more enjoyable. You can search for boating facilities and services by location, facility name, specific brands and more. All MTAM members are listed along with details regarding the services they provide.

The marina is peaceful, quiet, and beautifully maintained, with such a welcoming atmosphere. The people truly make it special. Last night could have turned into a very stressful situation, but the Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbour reminded us what the boating community is all about. We headed out expecting only a 20% chance of storms before the fireworks. As the evening went on, we started seeing lightning, and then the sky quickly turned dark. Rather than take any chances, we made the decision to head for the Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbour. We got the boat safely tied up just before the storm hit. From the moment we arrived, the staff, volunteers, and fellow boaters stepped up without hesitation. They helped us get secured, welcomed us into the clubhouse, and made sure everyone had a safe place to wait out the storm. After the weather passed, we decided the safest choice was to leave the boat overnight and get a ride home. When we offered to pay for the transient slip, they refused to charge us and wouldn’t even accept any money as they said the storm was bad and they were glad everyone was safe. That kind of generosity, professionalism, and genuine concern for others is rare. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness and hospitality. If you’re looking for fuel, a transient slip, or even considering a permanent slip, I can’t recommend Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbour highly enough. Thank you for helping keep our family safe. You could not ask for a better location, with a great anchorage spot just a few minutes down the river and other  popular destinations-from restaurants/tiki bars to other anchoring spots nearby. If you aren't heading out on the water, the pool has one of the best views around!

As one of the closest to the Philadelphia area, we quickly get to our boat and enjoy more time on the water, whether staying in the marina or heading out to the Chesapeake.
